New Middle School Program
We’re excited to announce a new addition to our GOTR program offerings -- Heart & Sole -- a curriculum designed to develop girls’ spirit, body, heart and brain. Running remains a core element of this new program, but adds strength and conditioning circuits. Teams are forming now for Fall 2015. Contact Ashley firstname.lastname@example.org for more information about joining or starting a Heart & Sole team at your school.
Girls' self-confidence plummets when they reach puberty.
Only 19% of girls have a positive association with the phrase “Like a Girl.”
Join or Start a Team
Enroll your special girl in one of our after-school programs, and empower her to be her best. If your school doesn’t have a Girls on the Run Team, start one.
82,000+ girls are enrolled in NOVA public elementary & middle schools. Join the 800+ volunteers each season who generously donate their time and talents to our program. Help us serve more girls!
We all need to rally and support the girls in our community, so that every girl reaches her full potential. Partnering with us will help us reach that goal.
To make sure that all 8-13 year old girls have the opportunity to become strong, heathy, confident young women. Go to our Crowdrise page and make a donation or set up your own online fundraiser.
Spread the Word
We can’t start a movement without you. Girls on the Run councils have collectively served One Million Girls in the US & Canada, and we are determined to serve a million more by 2020.
